Dominique Hogan-Doran SC is a Senior Counsel of the Australian Bar, conducting a national practice in a diverse range of commercial, regulatory, and public law matters. She accepts briefs directly from in-house lawyers, as well as appointments as a Commercial Mediator, Arbitrator, or Expert Determiner.

Dominique is a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Law, Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia, and Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Dominique acts in complex, high profile, and sensitive disputes, enforcement actions, public inquiries, and corporate transactions. Her clients include governments, regulators, licensed entities, listed corporations, and leaders in business and politics. 

She has led and managed large scale cases involving issues of public importance. She was Senior Counsel for the Commonwealth of Australia in the Royal Commission into the Robodebt Scheme and was Senior Counsel Assisting the Royal Commission into National Natural Disaster Arrangements, and has appeared in numerous other public inquiries.

Dominique blends her legal expertise with practical experience in corporate governance, risk management, and investments as a non-executive director & trustee. She is a director of Australian Cricket’s retirement investment fund & its Players Cordon public benevolent fund, and director of Natural Hazards Research Australia, Australia’s national centre for disaster risk and resilience research.
